Returned merchandise must be in saleable condition and in the manufacturer’s original packaging. Returns for full refunds must be made within 15 days of receiving the item; returns made after 15 days may be eligible for a refund minus a restocking fee. This does not apply to defective items that are covered under warranty. No refund will be granted on any part that has been installed, modified or that is not in saleable condition in its original packaging. Special orders (further down the page), electrical items and custom orders are not returnable. Shipping charges are not refundable.
Here’s how to return a product:
You must obtain an Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number by going to returns.bimmian.com. You will be asked to answer a couple of questions, such as the condition of the part and the reason for the return, before you will receive an RMA number. Please print the RMA number in large block letters on the outside of the box/envelope and send the package to the address indicated on the RMA instructions. Insure and ship the parcel via USPS or UPS Ground with tracking information. You are responsible for these costs; returns sent COD or freight collect will not be accepted. We cannot be responsible for any lost or misdirected returns or returns that are damaged in shipment, Upon receipt of your return, we will promptly issue you a refund.
Condition of Returned Items
We are unable to accept for return, warranty service, or replacement any products which have been installed, modified, mishandled, or otherwise damaged (including damage in return shipping). Any products returned to us for exchange or replacement must be received in original packaging, in perfectly resalable condition, and with all associated parts.
- Vinyl or decal products that have been installed cannot be returned
- Any products that have been installed or show signs of use are NOT eligible for return or refund.
- We do not accept returns on filament bulbs.
- Returns on rims are not accepted once mounted.
It is very important you inspect these items carefully before installation.
Returns Due To Incorrect Shipment
We make every effort to ensure that each shipment is picked, packed, and shipped carefully, however, occasionally, errors may occur. Please obtain a RMA number, as outlined above, and we will ship your new product to you as soon as possible. We reserve the right to send a replacement as a resolution to any incorrect shipment before offering a refund. If you wish to receive your replacement part before we receive your return, you may purchase an identical product from our site and it will be shipped immediately. Once the original part is returned, we will refund the amount of the second transaction in full, including shipping.
Returns Due To Mismatched Paint Colours
Our paints are all mixed to BMW specifications, however the color may differ slightly from the paint color of your BMW due to natural variances in automotive paint and different underlying materials. If you wish to return your painted product, please obtain a RMA number, as outlined above, and return your product to us. We will compare your product to our stock and attempt to find you a replacement in either a darker or lighter shade to achieve a better color match. if we cannot find a suitable replacement a full refund will be issued. If you choose not to accept a replacement on any custom painted part, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. Please note there is no return on painted products once they have been installed.
Items Lost Or Damaged In Transit
We all know that shipping companies occasionally cause damage to products. In cases like these, if we are notified within 5 days of the item being delivered to you, we will file a claim with the carrier on your behalf. Claims of damaged goods made after 5 days of product receipt cannot be processed. Items already installed on your vehicle will not be considered for transit damage claims. Once the claim is submitted to the carrier, you will have an obligation to work with the carrier to help with the claim. Once the claim is settled, we can re-ship the parts to you. We reserve the right to send a replacement as a resolution to any lost or damaged in transit claims before offering a refund. If you wish to receive your replacement part before the claim is settled with the carrier, you may purchase an identical product from our site and it will be shipped immediately. Once a claim payment from the carrier is issued to us, we will refund the amount of the second transaction in full, including shipping.
Returns Due To Customer Ordering Errors
If you have ordered an incorrect product, we would be happy to exchange it for you. Please obtain a RMA number, as outlined above, and we will ship your new product to you as soon as possible. We do not charge a restocking fee, however, we request that you pay shipping costs. Please contact us for an accurate quote on shipping your replacement order. If you wish to receive your replacement part before we receive your return, you may purchase an identical product from our site, and it will be shipped immediately. Once the original part gets back to us, we will refund the amount of the second transaction, less shipping. Shipping Compensation In cases where the customer is in no way at fault for the receipt of the incorrect or damaged merchandise, Bimmian may offer a prepaid return shipping label. If it is not possible to do so, we will offer you a site credit for more than the postal charges. You will need to provide a copy of a shipping receipt to be eligible for either form of compensation.
We warranty all merchandise, unless otherwise stated, for a minimum of three months against defects in workmanship or materials. Certain products may be covered by longer manufacturer warranties, as noted in our product descriptions. The warranty term in effect at the time of purchase shall be applicable to your items and the warranty coverage period starts on the original date of purchase. Our warranties are non-transferable and only apply to the original purchaser. Any claims for warranties offered by manufacturer must be referred to the product manufacturer. For in-warranty items, you must request an RMA number before returning products for replacement or service so that we can repair or replace your product as soon as possible. Warranty claims will be denied if there is any physical damage to the product. To replace your product under warranty, please follow the return instructions above.

Any product that carries a manufacturer’s warranty is sold with that warranty by the manufacturer extended to the purchaser.
